Talking Teens: Adolescent Coaching Clinic

Marleen has created Talking Teens ACC in order to be of service to young teenagers,  adolescents and their parents.  Talking Teens  ACC offers its services to both boys and girls,  even though workshops and rituals are currently focused on adolescent girls as well as their relationships with their mothers.

  • Smoking, drugs and alcohol
  • Dishonesty
  • Making smart choices
  • Self-acceptance
  • Identity development
  • Sexual development
  • Teenage pregnancy
  • Eating disorders
  • Relationship issues
  • Family issues

  • Parenting and family relationships
  • Divorce
  • Death in the family,  including loss of pets
  • Transitions such as relocations,  loss of employment etc.
  • Social difficulties
  • Addictions
  • Adolescent developmental difficulties
  • Authority and Power battles

Medical aid benefits are available.  Marleen is a registered educational psychologist (HPCSA) PS0036978 and has a practice nr with PCNS 862 4593

Life skills coaching and training :

areas of focus such as boundaries,  time management, adjustment skills,  social skills,  anger management,  conflict resolution,  problem solving, communication skills,  self-exploration,  authentic self-expression,  peer group pressure,  family roles and dynamics,  sibling rivalry and related issues,  drugs and sexual topics,  house rules,  chores and homework,  etc. These topics are addressed with reference to coaching teens and/or parents.
